Who We Are
I’m Christina Ward, founder of Ayiti Chérie, created in 2024 as a love letter to identity, heritage, and quiet strength. As a Haitian-American, I’ve spent much of my life moving between cultures—learning how to exist in both, and never fully feeling seen in either. Fashion and art became a way for me to process that experience, to make sense of it, and to express myself without having to explain. Ayiti Chérie is rooted in that feeling—where modern style meets the spirit of where we come from.
Because of the ongoing challenges in Haiti, we currently produce our goods through trusted partners in the U.S. and China to ensure ethical practices and consistent quality—while still honoring a vision shaped by the diaspora. Each month, we proudly donate to Haiti Partners, an organization doing meaningful work in education and community development on the ground in Haiti.
Ayiti Chérie is where style meets story—rooted in culture, shaped by experience, and made to be felt.
